A relatively new designer, Liz Black is someone you should definitely be keeping tabs on. Check out her newest collection after the jump.
Having just launched her line in 2010, Liz Black has already garnered a fair amount of attention, with Lady Gaga having been spotted in one her characteristically avant-garde pieces, and a shout out from Vogue Italia, declaring her as “one to watch”. Her spring 2012 collection is nearly a merger of architecture and fashion, dealing mostly in sharp, unexpected lines and silhouettes, and unique three dimensional textures. The designs convey a sense of movement, power, and speed, presented in a mostly monochromatic color pallet, and constructed from luxurious double silk, duchess satin, and lamb skin nappa leather. Indisputably elegant, but often very surprising, Liz’s garments embody a cosmopolitan, cutting edge spirit.
